Babes Wodumo Finds Comfort in New Relationship Following Mampintsha’s Passing

 

 

Renowned Gqom artist, Babes Wodumo, appears to be embracing a new chapter in her life after the tragic death of Mampintsha, revealing glimpses of her newfound happiness with a mysterious new boyfriend.The Turbulent Relationship That Was Short-Lived. Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha had one of South Africa’s most tumultuous celebrity unions. Their journey began in 2012 when Mampintsha signed Babes Wodumo to his record label, West Ink Records.

Their relationship, which commenced in 2016, was marked by various controversies, including accusations of domestic violence and drug abuse. The couple announced their engagement in October 2020, sharing the news on social media, and went on to celebrate a lavish traditional wedding in KwaZulu-Natal in 2021. Their joy, however, was cut short when Mampintsha suffered a stroke in December 2022 and passed away a week later. He was laid to rest in his hometown of Umlazi on December 31, 2022.
