Thuthuka Mthembu is a South African actress who was born on the 28th Of October 1999 in Johannesburg. She was inspired to pursue acting by Connie Ferguson who played Karabo Moroka on the old Generations cast. Thuthuka rose to fame in 2016 when she joined the SABC1 popular soapie Uzalo. She is playing the role of Nonkanyiso, the girl who accepted marriage from Sibonelo knowing very well that he has another girlfriend.

Thuthuka began acting like a very young girl doing impressions of her favorite characters and always knew that, acting was what she wanted to do in life. She also did commercials when growing up. She went to Durban High School before going to the University of KwaZulu-Natal where she was studying Theatre. She then got her Admission into AFDA, furthering her acting career.
