Definitely, a better singer than he is an actor.
Masandi used to sing R&B and hip-hop before he switched to gospel. He is not only a singer but he also acts in Uzalo where he plays the character of Kwanda Buthelezi.
In an interview with True Love at the time he bagged the role, Masandi – who had a stint on shows such as Isibaya and The Queen – said that he was excited to be back on the small screen.
“It feels absolutely amazing and I feel like I’ve been so hungry for such opportunities and I think that right now I’m receiving such a great platform to showcase my talents. I feel like for a long time I haven’t been working as much as I’d like to but now I’ve got that opportunity and I’m grateful,” he says about joining Uzalo.
