It’s confirmed, another celebrity has accepted the ancestral calling and soon will be practicing as a sangoma. Although she has not started with the initiation but after she has done the four ceremonies and completed it, she will then begin her healing journey.

She is the first celebrity in 2022 to accept the ancestral calling.

We saw last year as here in Mzansi Celebrity News, I reported a lot on celebrities who have become sangomas.

The likes of Nyan Nyan host, Luyanda Potwana, The Queen actress, Andrea Dondolo, Skeem Saam actress, Oratile Maitisa, Comedian and TV host, Tall Mo, just to mention the few.

On Monday, we reported on the entertainer, Zodwa Wabantu when there were guesses if she is becoming a sangoma. Well it turns out now that indeed, she is set on taking that journey.

On her Instagram page, Zodwa shared a picture of herself in a stream wrapped in traditional healer cloths, carrying horns.

Zodwa has explained that things started unfolding last year.

Speaking with a publication, TshisaLive, Zodwa said the dreams started in September and October but she has always been this person. She stated noticing something was up when her expensive watches and earrings got lost out of a sudden and now she knows that it is because the underground gang did not want them.

The past weekend was when Zodwa kick started her ancestral journey as she had her uBaba who flew from KZN to start this journey in the river.

Zodwa confirmed that going to the water meant she is inkosazana Yamanzi, “A water princess”.

She explained that there are more procedures to be done.

Zodwa explained that she dreams then go home and tell them what she dreams so they can interpret for her. This will also determine if and when she has to do the initiation.

She explained that no wonder she has been walking naked. The ancestors makes her lose her mind in different ways so they were taking her out of poverty and gave her this kind of life she has to fill.

On the matter of men, Zodwa said that she told them she wants to be happy, have lots of money and men. She don’t want to be deprived and she won’t be the sangoma if she will be alone.
