Ntobeko Sishi, who plays Ntokozo, the son of Gladys and Melusi Dlamini (Zolisa Xaluva), in the telenovela Gomora, recently opened up about his childhood and all of the difficulties he encountered while he was growing up.

Gomora is currently airing on Telemundo. Ntobeko, in contrast to many other famous people, did not have a silver spoon placed in his mouth as he was growing up.

Ntokozo’s real life struggles left fans teary

Instead, he had to fight his way up through the cutthroat entertainment industry and pave his own way. The actor shared his story with Dineo and Sol, revealing that he was just six years old when his mother passed away.

When I was six years old, my mother passed away. After her passing, I had a very difficult relationship with my father, and things in general started to fall apart. Even though I was very little, I was still able to perceive and understand that my father harbored a great deal of hatred for me.

I can’t help but wonder what a son of only six years old might have done to him. But I think I finally understand him, because grownups have their own problems, and they communicate their emotions in different ways.

The tragic history of Ntobeko Sishi’s family is recounted by actor Ntobeko Sishi.

When things got difficult for Ntobeko at home, his aunt and uncle rushed to his aid and offered to take him to live with them instead.

My aunt and uncle did everything in their power to ensure that I would grow up to be the person I am today.

When Ntobeko’s aunt and uncle took him in, the actor didn’t have a birth certificate and he wasn’t attending school. Neither of these things were required for him to live with them. His aunt was forced to take on the role of a mother figure in his upbringing and was responsible for ensuring that he received proper care. Because Ntobeko had become accustomed to a violent environment at home with his father, the transition to his new life was not an easy one for him to make.

There was a period when I did not have a report card or a birth certificate, and because of this, I was unsure of whether or not I would be attending school. They actually did fight for me to defend my rights. I am now a student at one of the most prestigious universities on our continent.

Ntobeko worked very hard in school because she had resolved to lift her family out of poverty once and for all. He is the first student in the history of the school he attended to earn only distinctions in all of his classes, which gives him a remarkable record to keep. Sishi completed his high school education in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, and received a first-class pass. He then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in commerce in economics and finance from the University of Cape Town (UCT).

Following the telling of his tragic narrative, Ntobeko went on to explain that he has a deep love for music and considers himself to have the potential to become Mzansi’s next great singer and songwriter.

Mzansi is discussing the exact age of the actor who plays Gomora, Ntokozo ‘Ntobeko Sishi.
On Gomora, the character of Ntokozo is the son of Melusi Dlamini, who is the headmaster of Gomora High School, and Gladys, who is a well respected social worker. Ntokozo devotes a significant portion of his life to gaining the approval of his overly anticipating father and the attention of his constantly occupied mother.

Ntokozo’s life was forever altered when he met Zanele, a former student at Gomora High School. Ntokozo’s life was driven to the breaking point by his struggles to gain his parents’ recognition. Zanele was the one who brought Ntokozo into the car-jacking criminal ring, and on their very first night working together, they were responsible for the death of Mbongeni Ndaba.

Ntokozo was recruited by Don, a gangster and an old friend of his father’s who was out for vengeance. Despite the fact that Ntokozo excelled in school, Don took him under his wing.

Ntobeko’s actual age became a topic of conversation in the media after socialite and dancer Zodwa Wabantu admitted that she has a crush on him. Zodwa, who is notorious for dating much younger men, posted a picture of Ntokozo on Instagram along with a caption stating that she loves how he makes her feel like a teenager again. This was done in an effort to attract his attention.

Ntokozo does not have any formal training in drama or film, despite the fact that he is a fan favorite. 2019 saw the end of his studies at the University of Cape Town, where he received a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance (UCT). In addition to his undergraduate degree in finance, he went on to earn a postgraduate diploma in management, entrepreneurship/entrepreneurship studies (UCT).
