Condolences continue to pour in for the former Scandal star Masechaba Mtolo and her family following the passing of the family’s baby girl Zithembe Shezi.

 

 

 

 

 
Earlier this month, Masechaba shared on Twitter that Zithembe was missing.

“Please help us find our niece Zithembe Shezi, a 12-year-old girl. She was swept away by the Henley River behind the library,” read the poster that the actress shared.

It was also revealed that the incident happened on the 6th of November between 1 and 3 pm.

Yesterday the actress took to Twitter to share the sad news of Zithembe’s passing. She said her lifeless body was found this past Thursday. She also thanked the fans for their support during this difficult time.

She wrote: “Thank you beloveds for your messages of support and the hope you brought to us since our baby girl Zethembe Shezi drowned in the Henley on Klip River last Saturday 6 November. Her lifeless body was found on Thursday 11 November.”
