tumeleng Khune’s wife, Sphelele, has seemingly reacted to news that the Kaizer Chiefs player faces disciplinary action for his behaviour on and off the field.
The soccer star courted controversy after he reportedly arrived intoxicated at training.
He’s also accused of disclosing confidential information relating to his teammate.
KHUNE’S CONTROVERSIES
According to Sunday World, Khune and colleague Mduduzi Mdantsane have been suspended for ill-discipline after arriving at the Amakhosi Stadium while under the influence of alcohol.
The publication adds that the Kaizer Chiefs captain will face a disciplinary hearing next week.

The veteran goalkeeper is also under fire for disclosing the mental health struggles of his teammate Brandon Peterson, who has had a difficult season.
Khune told Sunday World: “We [players] know what he is going through, and we are trying to help him.
“Even the club has provided resources for him by bringing in Dr Henning Gericke, who is a psychologist, just to discover what he is going through on and off the field.
“So, they have been having sessions, and you could see that Brandon has changed his way of doing things. He is not himself.”
“The club has provided resources for him by bringing in a psychologist just to discover what he is going through on and off the field. You could see that Brandon has changed his way of doing this. He is not himself.”
According to spokesperson Vina Maphosa, the club will release a statement once action has been taken.
WIFEY CLAPS BACK?
In an Instagram Story, Sphelele – Khune’s wife and mother of his two children – seemingly responded to the news surrounding her husband.
The model and influencer posted a cryptic quote that read: “Your character will outweigh any lie told about you.”
Itumeleng has yet to address the claims publicly.

It’s not the first time Sphelele has hinted at headlines about her spouse. Earlier this month, the soccer WAG was praised for her subtle reaction to Khune’s ex Minnie Dlamini, who publicly mocked the veteran player.
On her Instagram feed, Sphelele posted a picture of herself with a cryptic caption that read: “Own lane, own race, own pace.”
