Few days ago, the internet was left buzzing when the lawyer representing four of five accused people to be behind the killing of former Bafana-Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain, Senzo Meyiwa, got arrested inside the court.

 

 

 
Many were asking them self on why police arrested him inside the court, while there is media, why not happy or somewhere. His arrest divided the country, with someone trying to understand after explanation by police but some still didn’t understand it.

Chief Justice of the republic of South Africa, Raymond Zondo broke his silence yesterday. He released Statement which he wishes to make it clear that is not about whether Advocate Teffo should or not have been arrested. He said that It is about the place where the arrest was effected and the manner in which it was done.

For him, it was not suppose to happen inside the court, he didn’t find any reason why police couldn’t wait for court to be over or arrest him somewhere.
