On-screen, Refiloe Madumo plays Fikile, mother in her late forties compared to her thirty two year old real age. On Generations Fikile is a mother to Bonga Mpofu, the role played by Tatile Tan, a school, going teenager and rugby player who is nineteen years old. Refiloe Madumo snatches the public attention with her role as Palesa, an HIV positive character on Scandal in the 90’s. She vows and it is not known who her baby daddy is. In 2006, she guest starred on the SABC 1 sitcom Izoso Connexion. In 2007 she guest starred on SABC 3 comedy drama series One Way and she played the role of Zanele in the SABC 1 drama series Society.
