A notable South African celebrity, Nomzamo Nonzwakazi Nxumalo Mbatha, often known as Nomzamo Mbatha, is a well-known South African actor and singer. In addition to being an actor, TV personality, model, accountant, human rights activist, and entrepreneur, this stunning Mzansi superstar boasts a variety of other titles as a well.

It was in 2012 when Nomzamo first came to public attention when she was named as one of three finalists in the MTV Base VJ Search competition. On March 2nd, 2020, she announced her departure from the Isibaya soap opera, which she has been a part of since 2007. With more than 3.9 million followers on her Instagram profile, it is clear that she is one of South Africa’s most well-known female celebrities.

As a volunteer with charitable organisations and humanitarian initiatives in Africa, Nomzamo’s activity extends beyond acting and other media activities. As a result of her appointment as a High-Profile Supporter for the LuQuLuQu campaign in 2017, she was nominated to be a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency, which she will become in 2019. She is also an honorary member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, which she joined in 2005 after receiving the award.

Also a non-profit organisation, the Nomzamo Lighthouse Foundation was founded by Nomzamo, which provides assistance to at-risk kids, children in foster care, and older persons.
