In the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, the case against Mzansi’s ride-or-die duo, Thabo Bester and Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, was postponed.

 

 

The couple virtually appeared in court. The ‘Facebook rapist’ Bester and his lover Magudumana both made appearances via audio-visual remand (AVR) and Zoom, respectively.

At the Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Facility in Pretoria, Bester is currently detained.IOL previously reported that Bester virtually showed up as security issues were brought up.

The defendants, including Magudumana, are accused of numerous counts of fraud and corruption in addition to charges of abusing a body, harboring and hiding an escaped criminal, and subverting the course of law.

Magudumana was the lone defendant who, citing fresh evidence, this Monday provisionally renounced her bail request.

Magudumana, Bester, and a citizen of Mozambique were detained earlier last month in Arusha, Tanzania, after they had fled the nation after learning of Bester’s prison break.

Nandipha made her virtual appearance and people were so upset about how she was acting, she was busy laughing and this also annoyed celebrity Thando Thabethe claiming what she is laughing about.
