Lebogang Precious Mathosa (17 July 1977 – 23 October 2006) was a South African kwaito singer. Mathosa started her career as a founding member of the popular South African band Boom Shaka in 1994 at the age of 17, after she caught the eye of music producer Don Laka at a club in Johannesburg Mathosa died in a car crash, aged 29, after her driver lost control of her vehicle, a Toyota Prado, in which they were travelling on the N3 Highway on the East.

Rikhado Muziwendlovu Makhado (20 July 1987 – 23 February 2022), known professionally as Riky Rick, was a South African rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur. He was also the founder and owner of record label Cotton Club Records and a member of Boyz N Bucks and he’s well known for his hit song Boss Zonke from his album Family Values Makhado died on 23 February 2022 in Johannesburg, aged 34. The cause of death was reported as suicide by hanging after a lengthy battle with depression.

Kiernan Jarryd Forbes (28 January 1988 – 10 February 2023),known professionally as AKA, was a South African rapper, record producer and businessman. Born in Cape Town and raised in Johannesburg, Forbes gained recognition after releasing his single “Victory Lap” from his debut studio album, Altar Ego (2011). He is regularly referred to as the most popular South African musician in his era as well as the greatest South African rapper of all-time , he was shot to death .
