In the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria, where she is appearing as a State witness in the case against five men accused of murdering Senzo Meyiwa nine years ago, Zandile Khumalo was interrogated on the third day of her testimony.

 

 

 

 

Zandile’s testimony, which she presented in court on Tuesday and Wednesday and which was her version of the events on that terrible day when the Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates player was assassinated, was the subject of the first cross-examination by a defence attorney, advocate Sipho Ramosepele for Sibiya and Ntanzi.

Social media users were shocked when a picture of a woman in court was posted on Twitter. People immediately assumed that it was Thuli Phongolo.

@Collen_KM took to his Twitter account to post the picture. He left this caption on the tweet, “Thuli P is in Court today? #SenzoMeyiwaTrial.”

Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli are on trial for premeditated murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, possession of firearms without a licence and possession of ammunition.
