Fifi Cooper is the stage name of Refilwe Boingotlo Moeketsi, a South African music artist. Fifi Cooper began her musical career as an R&B singer until breaking through with her breakthrough rap hit “Chechela Morago” in 2010.
Fifi Cooper is the third kid in a family of three. Her early education took place at Montshiwa, Mahikeng, South Africa, where she also developed her singing and dance skills. She attended Batswana High School in Mahikeng for secondary school and Boston Media House for higher education, where she studied media.
Fifi Cooper secured a recording contract with Ambitiouz Entertainment, a musical label located in South Africa, in 2015. She released “Kisses,” a single created by AB Crazy, in early 2015. Dino Benedetti directed the music video for “Kisses,” which was premiered on YouTube on May 24, 2015.
Fifi Cooper released 20FIFI, her debut studio album, on November 13, 2015, which received three accolades at the 15th Metro FM Music Awards and was nominated for the 2nd South African Music Awards in the categories of “Best Newcomer of the Year” and “Best Female Artist of the Year.” Fifi Cooper, A-Reece, and the hip hop trio B3nchMarQ all left Ambitiouz Entertainment in February 2017.
Emtee (Mthembeni Ndevu) is a South African rapper who goes by the stage name Mthembeni Ndevu. He was born in Matatiele and spent his childhood in Rockville, Soweto, where he took part in talent events. His career began when he was 17 years old, and his first hit single, “Roll Up,” was released to critical acclaim in 2015.
Two singles preceded the album: “Roll Up” and “Pearl Thusi.” Manando (2017) is his second studio album, named for his late brother. In 2018, he released his third album, DIY 2. In collaboration with African Trap Movement, he founded eMtee Records and released his third studio album Logan (2021), which debuted at number one in South Africa.
In August 2019, Emtee announced that he was leaving his label Ambitiouz Entertainment, amid controversy.In September 2019, Emtee established his own record label, Emtee Records under his company African Trap Movement
