Tito Titus Mboweni is a politician from South Africa who held the position of minister of finance in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s administration from 2018 to 2021. Mboweni was the first Black South African to serve as Governor of the South African Reserve Bank and the eighth overall.

Tito recently greeted the newly crowned Miss South Africa, a radiant Ndavi Nokeri from Limpopo who won the pageant’s sparkling crown at the SunBet Arena in Time Square in Pretoria. The 23-year-old, a native of Tzaneen, earned a degree in business administration in investment management.

Mr. Mboweni referred to our Miss SA as his “homegirl,” which sparked outrage on social media. With someone replying that it should be home granddaughter for you, that the girl is too young to be called homegirl by him, and further implied that his home girl is the likes of Abigail Khubeka.
