Key performers from many genres came together for the Celebrity Soccer Game, which turned South Africa’s music scene into a new game.

Only four of South Africa’s many genres—maskanda, hip hop, amapiano, and gqom—competed during the Celebrity Soccer Game.

On the list for the Gqom Team were artists including Malume, Andile Mpisane, Que, Goldmax, Mampintsha, DJ Naves, and DJ Cleo.

Ntencane, Njoko, Jaiva, Ngelo, and other players from the maskandi team are ready to take on opponents on the field.

 

 

Amapiano enlisted the help of artists like Kabza De Small, Mfunda Da DJ, Dinho Caf, SMS Mnono, Enosoul, and Mas Musiq to demonstrate their commitment to the cause.

The most fascinating team is probably the hip-hop one. Fans were looking for something, but they were disappointed because AKA is on the team, as the list demonstrates. However, Cassper was not, so when Cassper Nyovest arrived, everyone was taken aback. Fans had been eagerly awaiting the two of them working together, thus many people were shocked to see the two, who had been at odds for some time, being cordial and exchanging high fives.
