As a result of rejection from modeling agencies, Advocate Lalela developed a thick skin and a strong determination to fight the unemployment difficulties that young South Africans experience.
Her readiness to meet with South Africa’s Minister of Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi, to discuss solutions to the country’s growing unemployment crisis originates from her desire to help the country’s youth escape poverty.
Despite her background in a middle-class family, Lalela developed a taste for grandeur and glamour. If she wins Miss SA, she will be able to maintain her opulent lifestyle.
