Foji’s educational journey began at Bisho Primary School for her primary level education, followed by Bisho High School for her secondary education. Displaying a keen thirst for knowledge, she pursued Drama at New Africa Theatre in Cape Town, earning a diploma in Media and Journalism. After completing her theatre diploma, Foji’s path encountered challenges. Job opportunities were scarce, making it difficult to secure stable employment. Despite these hurdles, she persevered and eventually secured a position at the Sowetan newspaper’s call center. Her tenacity led her to Sandton, where she worked at a clothing outlet. However, her true passion lay in acting.

Foji’s breakthrough arrived when she obtained her first stage acting role at the Market Theatre Laboratory in Newtown, Johannesburg. Subsequently, her journey in the entertainment industry gained momentum. Introduced to an acting agency by fellow actor Dumisani Mbebe, she auditioned for “Generations,” clinching her significant role as Simphiwe. Her on-screen presence might have initially exhibited nervousness, but her undeniable beauty and genuine performances earned her admirers.
