Their characters have evolved so much on Scandal. They have evoked all kinds of emotions from viewers and still give the show some youthfulness. Mvelo Makhanya who portrays the role of Lindiwe Ngema practically grew up in our screens. From being a rebellious teenager to becoming someone’s wife, we love to see it.

Mvelo is indeed a talented actress, she has portrayed the character of Lindiwe very well from the beginning. Off screen she is very bubbly and vibrant. One thing she seems to have in common with her character is her love for singing and dancing.

Mikateko Hlabangwane joined Scandal in 2014 as Mary. Mary has been through a lot with her bestfriend Lindiwe. She was a teenager when she joined the show and now she’s in University. Although she hasn’t been appearing much on Scandal, she was the there on Lindiwe’s wedding looking gorgeous. The 20 year old is currently doing her second year on Civil engineering. While Mary is a shy and reserved girl, Mikateko is outgoing.

Botlhale Boikanyo portrays the role of Lindiwe’s young sister Omphile Ngema. Omphile loves her sister and tries to look out for her. Omphile’s character has also grown so much, she’s now a university student. Botlhale is also a poet, she was the winner of South Africa’s Got Talent in 2012 which propelled her to fame. She’s a beautiful and talented young woman who has contributed so much to the entertainment industry.
