South African gospel singer Dumi Mkokstad, 27, and his fiance Ziphozenkosi Mthembu, 25, were married this week in a small ceremony. His latest live album, Calvery “indawo yobufakazi,” was released in March and includes favorites like “My God is too much,” “Ngonyama,” and more.
In April of this year, Dumi Mkokstad, whose actual name is Mduminseni Nzimande, officially engaged Ziphozenkosi during the Easter celebrations. For their big wedding day in June, the Lobola talks had been completed, and the couple was ready to begin the preparations. Congratulations to Dumi Nzimande and Ziphozenkosi Nzimande on their wedding.
There is a lot of common ground between the two birds of prey. Since they grew up in the same town in Pietermaritzburg, both Ziphozenkosi and Mdumiseni aka Dumi Mkokstad are from KwaZulu-Natal. Dr. Ziphozenkosi is the daughter of Bishop Mthembu of the Power Of God and a doctor by training. Due to the popularity of Dumi Mkokstad and Ziphozenkosi Mthembu in their social circles, they decided to have a modest, private wedding with just close relatives and friends.
