This past weekend, Dawn Thandeka King threw a birthday celebration for her daughter Deenie. When her bundle of joy unexpectedly walked out of the house, the former Uzalo singer rushed to social media to post photos and videos. A birthday song was sung by her friends, family, and even her mother’s friends. She couldn’t believe her mother had arranged such a wonderful surprise for her. Celebrating her daughter’s 21st birthday in the midst of a coronavirus outbreak, the actress expressed gratitude. It was Deenie, who she called her “best buddy,” in an Instagram post. Aside from that, she lauded Deenie for serving as a positive example for her younger siblings.
