Currently, Shoki Sebotsane portrays Celia Kunutu on the South African serial opera Skeem Saam.

In addition to her part as Grace Lerothodi in the SABC1 miniseries Death of a Queen, she has also established herself as a renowned casting director and fashion designer.

 

Shoki Sebotsane was born on August 10, 1977, in the city of Tzaneen, Limpopo Province, South Africa. She’s always wanted to work in fashion, and now is her chance.

While in high school, she hadn’t given acting much thought, but after she had graduated, she chose to mix it with her other interests. To a large extent, Shoki now follows her instincts in making life decisions.

Shoki Sebotsane, with her educational and professional pedigree, has to be one of the most talented actresses in all of Mzansi.

Prudens Secondary School was the place where she excelled academically, and in 1994 she graduated as valedictorian of her class in Soweto. Later, in 2000, she enrolled at Finland’s Tampere University of Technology to study fashion design, namely corsetry. She graduated from Tshwane University of Technology with a degree in theater in 2002.
