She is known for her role as Siphokazi Zungu on Isibaya telenovela drama series on Mzanzi Magic. She fell in love with comedy at a young age. She performed her first stand up gig at a church in 2005.

She had her first prodessional gig by Monwabisi Grootboom of 99% Zulu Comedy Show. She was the first comedienne to record a one _woman show DVD entitled “Seriously Celeste ”.
