The dark cloud of death is hovering in the entertainment industry a lot this year. It just two months since the year has began but already there are so many deaths that are occurring on celebrities.

This will spark fear amongst celebrities like it happened last year when so many of them were dying like flies.

As the country is in mourning the passing of the music icon, Rikhado “Riky Rick” Makhudo, it just comes into remembrance about celebrities who are no longer with us.

Here’s a list of some celebrities who have passed away since the year of 2022 has started.

1. Patrick Shai

The veteran actor who made a name for himself back in the years in Yizo Yizo and acted on Generations, died on January 26 after he committed suicide at his home. Apparently he has been battling with depression.

2. Kuli Roberts

The media personality passed away on February 9. She collapsed while she was at a party with events and did not wake up from that. She died in the scenes according to medical reports.

The award winning rapper who was loved and celebrated by many has his death broke many people’s heart. Wednesday, the 23rd of February became a sad day in South Africa as we learnt of the sad news that Mr Boss Zonke is no more.

The Sidl’ukotiin hitmaker died after committing suicide at his home in Johannesburg. Makhado had been battling with depression a lot too. He can be heard in some of his songs opening up about the struggles he faced in the music industry. Despite being a record label owner, Cotton Club records but he faced huge struggle.

The toll and pain on him was too much as he mentioned during one of his interviews that he had attempted suicide a couple of times.
