The actress is one of Mzansi’s celebs, who always tries to be multilingual in order to accommodate everyone, despite becoming a laughing stock on the internet with her accent, Connie simply does not give up!

It is no secret that there is nothing more heart-warming than seeing out celebs trying to speak different languages to learn and showcase their diversity.

As we recently celebrated Heritage Day, Connie proved that she is a proud Motswana girl, and she does not discriminate against other languages. In a cute video she shared on Instagram, she is seen dancing to her fondest traditional dance and captioned it,

“My fondest memories of my childhood involve one or other cultural activity! I loooved traditional dance.” She wrote, sharing a video of herself doing a traditional dance. “And today I thought I’d pay homage to the good old days with a tease! NB; I don’t take myself seriously! At all! Struu!”

On the latest episode of The Queen Mzansi, Connie left many rolling on the floor with laughs with her Zulu line.

Connie who plays Harriett on the show was speaking to Brutus and when the two share a scene together one is usually in for a burst of great laughter.

The TV star’s cute Zulu accent left Ntando Duma in awe. The actress shared a video of the scene on Instagram and saying Connie cracks her every time she tried to speak IsiZulu. The actress could be heard laughing in the background. Connie replied and said she tries.

Ntando recently bagged a new role on The Queen. The actress plays the character of Rapulana Seiphemo’s character’s daughter “Mpho.”

Ntando left fans impressed with her acting and her Setswana accent since it’s not her native language. This follows after some fans were concerned that she won’t be able to portray the character.

This is not the first time Connie has left someone in stitches. The actress was recently filmed speaking isiZulu to the cast and crew of the production in isiZulu and we couldn’t stop laughing at it.Another celeb who often leaves mesmerized fans when he speaks isiZulu is Cassper Nyovest. Manaka is just weeks away from welcoming her baby and she has not revealed the gender. She is a proud grandmother as her eldest daughter Katlego also gave birth a few weeks ago.

She plays Lucy Diale on the hit SABC 1 soapie but will be taking a breather as she prepares to go on maternity leave very soon.

Although motherhood is not anything new to her because she has two grown daughters, the actress told Daily Sun that the experience is nothing new. She has also slammed those who hold boy children at the highest honor than girls.

“It’s the same feeling I felt when I had my two daughters, so this experience is nothing new. People have been saying they hope I’m carrying a boy, but we’ll see. I look forward to giving birth to a child. I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl, as long as it’s not an animal,” she laughed.

“Boys and girls are equally important and have different functions in society. “I don’t believe that boys are necessarily better. According to society and culture norms, they’re carriers of legacies. Girls also bring kids into this world,” she added.

The expectant mother said she will be going on maternity leave very soon.

“I’m still working, but will go on leave a few weeks from now. Lucy will also be gone,” she said.

Thembinkosi Lorch’s girlfriend who got him arrested, has been arrested

Thembinkosi LorchThembinkosi Lorch‘s ex-girlfriend Fundiswa Mathithibala has been arrested.

Daily Sun learnt that Fundiswa was arrested in Sandton on Thursday morning (08 October) after she was found driving under the influence of alcohol.Thembinkosi Lorch

Her arrest was also on the same day that Lorch who is out on bail of R2000 made his second court appearance at the Midrand Magistrates Court.

But the case against the footballer was postponed to 27 October 2020 for disclosure of the contents of the docket to his legal representative.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Provincial police spokesperson Kay Makhubele confirmed that indeed Fundiswa was arrested.

The Orlando Pirates Midfielder fielder is facing a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Fundiswa who was driving a white Ford Eco Sport SUV was stopped by JMPD officers and blood tests were taken due to COVID-19.

“The suspect was arrested for Driving Vehicle while under the influence of alcohol by JMPD”

“She will appear in court on the 10th of October,” he said.
