Phume Will Not Be Giving Away A PS5! The controversial Queen decides to change her mind

Mzansi’s favourite fitness bunnie and entrepreneur Phume, has won the hearts of many women in the country and is a sign of inspiration for them. Ever since Phume convinced South African men to twerk for a Playstation 5 console on Instagram, she has become a celebrity of note.
Despite men having Twerked their butts off, and being made fun of left, right and centre, Phume Tweeted that she has changed her mind. To the shook of many, it is because of the soon to be released iPhone 12.

“Angeke ngikwazi ukuthenga iPS5 ngingenayo iPhone 12 Pro. Ngiyaxolisa”

Phume even apologised when she Tweeted; “I will never be able to buy a PS5 but I don’t have an iPhone 12 Pro. I am sorry.” To the dismay of many and amusement of many more, Tweeps responded to her sudden change of mind.

“So practically they twerked for non”

“Bathong, sebetwerke kangaka abanye abantwana” (My gosh! After they already twerked so much.)

“I knew nje ukuthi ayikho le PS5… zinja zadunusela ubala, my Gender is taking L’s none STOP!” (I knew that there will be no PS5…my dawgs had their butts in the air for nothing)

When South African men took up Phume’s challenge, the entrepreneur dominated the Twitter trends list, and many hailed her for coming up with a unique idea to get the internet talking. There were firm favourites and some Kings were ready to risk it all and buy the PlayStation 5 themselves because they were serving face and body. But there were also contenders that gave their all for this lucrative prize, meanwhile, Amanda Black was visibly shaken and amused by the whole Twerkathon, while Simphiwe Dana decided to remind everyone how important it was that men felt free to Twerk.

Boity called for Phume to be declared President while Rouge the Rapper called her the GOAT for having the power to make grown men twerk online for her.

Soon afterwards #PhumeMustFall found itself trending on social media with a tweep saying that her actions on social media will soon have her twerking to make ends meet as her industry does not tolerate nonsense. Mmusi Maimane, Simphiwe Dana and several other personalities were not here for the calls for Phume to fall. Mmusi tweeted that no one should be fired for having light-hearted fun on their social media and if there should be any attempts Phume should let everyone know.

It seems like Phume Must Fall may be back again soon

Phelo: “I Will Get Him And Our Love Back” The couple has rekindled their love…or so we thought?

Moshe Ndiki and Phelo Bala are confusing the masses leaving them dizzy with their cryptic social media posts. However, everything seems to confirm that they are back together or judging by Phelo’s latest tweet, they are still working things out?

The less gullible social media users who have studied how celebrities use that platform which are social networks, to spin a scandal so their careers blossom, or so that their business endeavors gain more traction, did not buy the break up the minute Phelo wrote: “I miss you @moshendiki…Guys please intervene.”Moshe has not commented nor retweeted any of his posts, but he did like a post where a tweep begged him to take Phelo back.

“The first lie was that “we are together when you got the call from the paper”. The second is that I am “your Phelo”. I can’t afford a PR spin so I’ll leave it with this: The fact that the truth is complex is not an excuse to resort to comfortable lies. Lies can disguise themselves as truth but eventually, the truth comes to light,” Phelo commented on Moshe’s statement where he denied beating Phelo up.

A few months later, Phelo shook the internet with an image of himself and a mystery man that was thought to be his new flame. The mystery man turned out to be industry insider, Vuyo Varoyi. But neither would confirm whether they were an item or not. Moshe, on the other hand came out and revealed that he was going to be a father, which many thought meant single father.
The couple has already been spotted to together out in public, and Phelo posted an image from Moshe’s backyard wearing clothes from Vuyo’s clothing brand. A very good PR stunt!

Moshe and Phelo came out as a couple in 2019 and things really did seem to look up for them when they announced their engagement that same year. 2020 seems to have messed things up for many people including their relationship which seemed to have bit the dust. It was alleged that they both turned to alcohol which made them a bit violent towards each other and things then turned physical. Image

In the lovebird’s case Phelo had released a new single ‘Andisafuni’ whilst their “break up” was still the talk of the town. A song that many anticipated would give details about their breakup.

Recently, he posted another picture and captioned it, “Not giving up anytime soon…I will get him and our love back.” Whilst many were laughing and sharing many of Moshe’s timeless memes, some applauded their great PR stunt as it might have worked for Phelo musically.

Mohato Is No More Fans are in disbelief

Gomora Mzansi has fans in shock after killing off the character of Mohato which was played by Ernest Msibi.

Apparently Mohato died because of his own greed.

“On Friday’s episode, after successfully hijacking multiple cars and getting them across the border to Maputo, Mam Sonto and her team finally received money from Pedro. However, Mohato was not satisfied with his cut of the profits but wanted the whole bag. After threatening to take away Mam Sonto’s life for the stash, he left Thati with no choice but to take away his life. She shot him dead and last night’s episode ended with Thati and Mam Sonto trying to dispose of his body.”

Ernest joined Gomora three months ago and has been a hit ever since. He was good so much so that fans got to a point where they didn’t know if he was still acting or actually being himself, his lingo in the show was actually adopted on social media.

Not all is lost as Enerst is reportedly going back to Uzalo hence the Gomora Mzansi exit. He was reportadly fired becuase of contractual disputes.

Cassper To Speedsta: “Don’t Start With Me” Was it all just a misunderstanding?

Cassper Nyovest might have taken some offense to Speedsta’s tweet where he commended Costa Titch for releasing the best album SA Hip Hop has heard this year. Cass’s response had many convinced that it was directed at Speedsta however when the popular Hip/Hop DJ said in a thread he meant no disrespect to other rappers who dropped, Cass warned him to not push it.

Cassper had initially deleted the tweet where he said “This is pure comedy! There’s opinions, there’s preferences and then there is (talking c**p). Pick a struggle.” Speedsta saw the tweet and thought it was directed towards him however, Cass quickly put him at ease. He said he was talking about Nota Baloyi who blatantly disrespected Cassper’s album by dissecting it song by song.
It makes sense that Cass would sub-tweet Nota as he has a bone to pick with him, however the timing was a bit off.

“When everyone you feature on your project sounds better than you do and you get the worst out of a legend like Zola to make yourself feel better. Then you pray PRO and Jabba can save your album from the grave. Not a chance. It’s back to the drawing board you go Kaizer Chiefs…” he said after the release of Any Minute Now.

“This is probably the worst of the 5… At least we had Remote Control, we had Baby Girl, we had Malume and a whole classic album with Tsholofelo… As a fan I’m more disappointed that this is the worst album from the Pantsula. That’s just my cold take. I wish it wasn’t so!

“You know you’re a wack rapper when you diss Scoop, a guy who doesn’t rap and can’t defend himself with a reply…Cassper & Nasty C’s tracklist should just be “a list of American rappers I tried to imitate…” he added.

Nota even hyped Costa Titch by saying he will deliver a better album than Nasty C and Cassper, “When Costa Titch’s album drops I’ll be back to say I told you so… I’m 1000% sure he’ll deliver a better album than Any Minute Now.”
Speedsta corrected the misunderstanding and said he did not mean to offend Cassper by hyping Costa Titch up.

“I wasn’t trying to offend you in any way. I got mad love for you! Will call you & T Lee in the morning. ‘Costa’ credit everybody on the album, because everybody on his album HOT!!!! Small, VERY SMALL EXAMPLE BEN FILLED THE CLUB UP (3 Days of Marketing) & he put the line up together easy because he produces all their stuff. Everybody performing there! Do YOU know BEN?”

Mufasa also supports Costa and quickly came to his defense after many accused him of cultural appropriation.I can vouch for Costa being a real one. As much as the conversation is important, I don’t think Costa should be the face of cultural appropriation. He just a young kid who loves our culture and they having fun. The politics kill things before they start. Let the young man shine.
