Model Tshepi Vundla recently lifted the lid on some of the lows moms go through, especially when children are injured on their mother’s watch.

Tshepi, whose son Siba just turned three, is always sharing the cutest posts of him on Instagram but recently got candid about all the times she’s felt like a bad mom, like the times when Siba got physically hurt.

“Do moms tweet about their children having freak accidents/rushing to hospitals?” she asked before adding, “Or do they prefer seemingly (looking) like they have their sh*t together?”Tshepi opened up about a few incidents where Siba got hurt and she felt embarrassed to share what had happened with her followers because she thought she would be judged.

“One incident with Siba was him falling off the bed while we were asleep. He had the worst bruise on his face. I didn’t post him on the gram because I thought people were going to come for me.”

The model admitted that it was a low moment.

“I hated myself and thought I was being a crappy mom,” she said.

And, as life would have it, that was not Siba’s last incident. Just on Wednesday, Tshepi said, Siba got hurt again.

“Yesterday Siba cut his gum on the table playing with his eyes closed while behind me. There was so much blood & we thought he needed stitches. The bleeding eventually stopped & we took him to get checked. No stitches were needed, just an ointment.”Tshepi’s honesty unleashed a range of stories from #ParentTwitter, as mothers came clean about all the moments they felt like they had failed their children after something had happened to them.

Mothers gave Tshepi props for being candid about her motherhood journey, something they felt was rare, not only for celebrity moms but for moms in general.

Other celeb moms, including songstress Simphiwe Dana and radio host LootLove, also briefly shared instances where motherhood showed them flames and left them in their feels.

“S once fell face down and no-one saw how but we were all in the room, it was so strange … only for her to fall off the bed two days later and get to buyers in the same place again, she now has a permanent dent on her forehead … I felt so crappy. I was so distraught,” LootLove shared.

“Phalo once opened the car door of a cab, while it was moving. Thank god for mami reflexes because I grabbed him by his arm as he was falling out,” Simphiwe added to the conversation.

Rapper L-Tido says citizens of SA and the US don’t know how to vote, and tweeps weighed in amid the nail-biting 2020 American presidential elections.

In the season of Joe Biden vs Donald Trump, conversation and debate are buzzing across the globe. No Favours hitmaker L-Tido added his 2c to the conversation.

The star said South Africans and Americans are guilty of voting for leaders who they eventually complain about.

“Americans complain about Trump but still vote for him. South Africans complain about the ANC but still vote for the party. What does this mean?” L-Tido wrote. As it usually goes with politics, the tweet rubbed others the wrong way.

Some people were unhappy with his opinions, while others were coming for his music. Honestly, the streets were a mess.

See for yourself:Though the star doesn’t usually talk politics on the TL, L-Tido often stirs the pot when it comes to controversial opinions.

Earlier this year, when a T-war between AKA and Cassper Nyovest erupted, L-Tido seemed to be #TeamAKA all the way, having only words of praise on Twitter for the Fela in Versace hitmaker.

“One thing about you, you don’t pretend. What you see is what you get! Not a drop of fakeness in your blood. Supa solid mega!” tweeted L-Tido.

Award-winning singer Judith Sephuma says she’s come out of a rut and feels like she has fallen in love with music all over again, which is great news for her fans.

Skeem Saam: While the Maputla’s ululate in celebration of their new makoti, Pretty was forced to make a difficult decision to drop the sexual harassment charges against Nimza. Under pressure from the rumours surrounding her, she makes the difficult choice to have the case dropped. It is at this moment that, we learn of the unfairness of the justice system on victims and generally our resolve as a society to shame victims.Pretty would not have decided what she did if no one had put it in her mind that she had done something wrong by reporting Nimza’s harassment.

The decision making was indicative of the pressure women and all victims of violence have to face. There is always the question of whether or the victim is making the right decision by reporting and even more grossly unfair the question always seems to rest on whether or not the perpetrator will survive the allegations.Pretty was enamoured from the beginning by the accusatory tone most of her community, her peers, and her family broached the subject with. The scrutiny into her life and less of the focus on the violence visited onto her and less on the life and actions of Nimza, played a big role in the decision Pretty made.As the story unfolds, I hope we get more than just what the writers have offered us. Beneath the surface, what does Nimrod think of his actions? Does he consider himself to be a victim and of so, is it just jealousy and hate? Will the reckless purchase of his new car reveal to the viewers other sides we are not privy to? What if something like this had happened to Nimza’s sister? Would he then consider that there are a lot of sides to the story? Would he pursue justice?

It’s good to see that her trademark infectious smile was very much present in her youth.

Dawn’s road to fame was not easy, before she got her acting break, she worked a 9-5 job in the tourism industry for 10 years.

The actress told Drum Magazine that while working there, she went through depression and acting was one of the things that helped her to be herself again.

Dawn Thandeka is also an incredible mom to her 5 kids and she says she manages to find a balance.

Juggling work and family is difficult but I always choose to look at the positive side of things. I’m a mother who works hard to provide for my five children. I always stay focused on what I’m doing but I don’t allow myself to be swallowed up by it. When I spend time with my children, I make sure that it’s remarkable,”
