In the early hours of this morning rapper, Cassper Nyovest surprised many when he announced his plans to quit Hip Hop. The rapper, who’s explored other genres in the past including Kwaito and Amapiano expressed his love for the House sub-genre that has taken the country by storm. The man, who says he’ll only be getting back to rap in 2020 is getting back to dance music as early as 2021.Cassper Nyovest is currently closing off the year by showcasing that all the negativity he received this year did not matter because the Tsibipians closed off the year big. As we wrap up 2020, Cassper has proven that in more ways than one, he has won the year.

The rapper took away three nods during the festivities proving that he is the “King of the Jungle.”

The first award that he won was for the “2020 Best Male” category, which would explain why he won one of the biggest of the awards of the night for ”2020’s Best Album” for “Any Minute Now (A.M.N).” Considering the numbers that the rapper has produced with his return-to-hip-hop album, the win is well deserved. The album is still charting and makes for one of few albums released by a South African artist to maintain the number 1 spot on the Apple hip-hop music charts for four weeks consecutively.
Another award he won was for 2020’s “Song of the Year,” and the award was for his single “Good for That,” featuring Tweezy. The win is monumental considering the type of drags that Cassper received for the song. At the height of the song’s release comparison between him and the late hip-hop artist, Pop Smoke was rife as the rapper was accused of appropriate Pop Smoke’s sound as his own in South Africa.However, the rapper still had a clean sweep. But that does not mean that his win did not come with some drama. There are some tweeps that took to Twitter to suggest foul play wondering if the voting system was rigged to ensure that Cassper comes out on top. But one thing about the Tsipibians, they will defend their leader and that is what they did as they took to the timeline to
express that the hate Mufasa was receiving was just that and was unjustified.

And to celebrate Mufasa is planning to celebrate with his fans at popular night club, Black Door. And if the name sounds familiar, that is because the night club is the same one that had the unpleasant visit from the Minister of Police, Bheki Cele. The club was shut down for contravening the lockdown and social distancing protocol. But let us hope that Mufasa’s good luck will rub off on tonight’s festivities.

According to City Press this was sparked by cheating rumours in their relationship. The fight was so bad that the authorities had to intervene. A source on the scene claimed that Nelli was tired of AKA’s ways and wanted to move out.

“When the police got to the house, they were still fighting and her bags were packed. She told the police that she was tired of his behaviour and was leaving [him]. She told them that she was going to book herself into a hotel and stay there before going [back] home,”It was reported that the two even wanted to lay physical assault charges against one another.

“They both threatened to lay charges against each other, but in the end, they didn’t. They even called their respective lawyers who became mediators before leaving with their respective clients, After a long discussion and the realisation that they are not opening cases against each other, the two were told to go. But emotions were still running high. Nelly, who had left the house with all her bags, got into her lawyer’s car and left,”

However, it appears that they’ve sorted out their differences and are happily in love again.

Gomora Mzansi had been hinting that actress Ama Qamata could be leaving the show, which was a reality many of the telenovela’s fans did not want to face. However, following last night’s episode, it appears the is parting ways with the drama. On the show, her character Buhle is changing schools and said her goodbyes.

Ama Qamata has been nominated for the ‘Revelation Actress Of The Year’ award at the Series Brazil Awards. The Gomora actress announced this on her Instagram Stories, expressing her excitement.

“It’s a celebration y’all !So honoured to be nominated at this years Series Brazil Awards for Revelation Actress Of The Year. This is just incredible. I am honestly speechless. Thank You Brazil. Let’s bring this one home yeah,” she wrote.

She is nominated amongst many other actresses in the world but her fans can ensure she takes this one home by voting for her.

The international streaming hit series, has left many in total awe, as well as put many of our actors on, with its intriguing storyline and talented actors.

The series was shot in Cape Town and it boasts a star-studded cast which includes the likes of Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema, Gail Mabalane, Thabang Molaba, and Cindy Mahlangu. The international hit streaming teen series tells a story of Puleng Khumalo, who is investigating the case of her older sister Fikile Bhele, who was abducted at birth. Puleng’s gut feeling leads her to following her heart so she gets herself transferred to the same school as her probe is well underway.
Speaking to ZAlebs about landing the role of Puleng she said “I was obviously very excited because the audition process was quite long. Initially, I sent a self-tape because I couldn’t physically go to the audition and they wanted to see me in person for my call-backs. I flew myself down to Johannesburg to do the callbacks and I begged my mom and I was like I really have to do this.

“The second time they flew me to Cape Town and I had to test chemistries with different characters and they were like we really like you and, we would like to give you the role of Puleng and obviously I was very excited because I’ve been praying for an opportunity like this.” she said.

The rising star has made a few appearances in numerous TV shows including My Perfect Family, Muvhango, and Rythm City. The petite actress currently portrays the role of Buhle on Mzansi Magic’s hit Telenovela Gomora.

The star has been giving us hint that she has a new man in her life but she is yet to reveal who the person is exactly.

Taking to her Twitter, Mihlali said she might not be able to survive with a man who doesn’t cook.

She went on to say she thinks she might perish if he man can’t even make her breakfast.

The model claims that the people from Johannesburg will make every effort to get the worst from you. Afterwards, she goes on to rebuking negativity.

However, minutes after tweeting such, she took it down, as it raised brows after mentioning Joburg.

“I just… I’ve seen what unhappiness does to me mentally and physically. I can’t let anyone’s negative energies try move me from a place I’ve worked so hard to return to. People in Joburg will always try extract the worst from you…not anytime soon satan. I rebuke the negative!” she tweeted.

Naomi also revealed to fans that she’s sick, and it’s made her miss her later mom, who would have gone out of her way just to make sure she’s fine.
