Makhadzi is on a winning streak and we love that for her. From taking the song of the year title in 2020 to making enough money to build her mother a massive house, she is surely Queening and nobody is going to stop her from flourishing – or so we thought.Record label and artist relationships are always bitter sweet, as we have seen in the past. Conflict arises when artists divert to something different, which record labels do not cater for most of the times. Makhadzi is apparently in that predicament, causing her to lose out on a major gig.

The Matorokisi hitmaker was due to appear in a popular Etv soapie Rhythm City in the coming episodes. Shooting for this episode was supposed to happen this morning however the performer was a no-show, leaving the producers of the show to come up with an alternative at the last minute.

Since Rhythm City has been canned, Mzansi was left star-struck by the news seeing how the show caters for local music and uplifts our talent. They do this by adding local songs as their soundtracks and also get the artists to perform at their popular club Kilowatt. Makhadzi was going to be part of the list of artists who would have performed at the soapie however she did not even pitch. She was also apparently paid a deposit but sources told Daily Sun that she is having a misunderstanding with her record label. Makhadzi is currently signed to Open Mic productions.This would have been her second appearance at a Mzansi soapie. On the 31st of December 2020, the Murahu songstress gave a fiery performance on Muvhango. The performance was proudly organized by Muvhango’s Vhutshilo and as per their invite, everyone could join in on the fun virtually.

Speaking to Daily Sun ahead of her performance, the Murahu hitmaker said she was excited to welcome in the New Year with the Muvhango family. She, like many others is anxious about the New Year, saying she hopes this year is a better one than 2020.She also felt at home because she boasted about having friends on the show. Makhadzi even touched on the drama which ensued between her and her former manager Rita Dee, saying she has dusted herself off and will focus on her supporters.

“I know I’ve been making headlines this year because of the drama with my former manager, but I’ll dust myself off and focus on my music. I have fans who support my music,” she told the publication.

As the academic school calendar is in full effect in the country Mohale Motaung- Mhlongo has pledged to donate shoes as well as vouchers to disadvantaged pupils in South Africa.
Taking to Instagram, Mohale announced this new charitable venture where he and his team, sponsored by Uber Eats, will donate school shows to needy pupils form Kwa- Nobuhle, Queenstown and Tembisa schools in Gauteng.he initiative is called #ForTheYouthFoundation and focuses on helping South African children access education without having to struggle with getting shoes.He is a philanthropist at heart as this is not his first charity drive. Mohale visited the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital in December last year to head a festive campaign to donate toys to the children at the hospital.

He also makes sure to encourage people to find it in their hearts to also do good for other people.The Mohale-Motaung household is filled with philanthropists as hubstar Somizi Mhlongo also has a good heart.

The media personality recently promised to uplift small businesses by giving them free exposure on his huge following on social media.

Prince Kaybee has joined the handful of ZAlebs who have voiced out their opinions on the DJ Fresh and Euphonik rape allegations saga.Following their joint statements which informed people that the National Prosecuting Authority has withdrawn the rape case against the DJs due to insufficient evidence, many people either voiced out their dissappointments or lent words of support to them.

Prince Kaybee was one of the celebs who expressed disappointment but did not direct his words to the accused, he rather encouraged Rape victims to report the incident immediately after it happens. These are some of the sentiments shared by people as it would allow for reliable evidence to be collected.

The NPA could not go on with the case due to insufficient evidence, therefore Prince Kaybee’s advice stems from that. His advice did not quiet land well with many women who have gone through such ordeals. One woman told Kaybee to not comment on issues he has not experienced as he does not know what goes on in the woman’s mind after getting raped.

“I personally feel that no one can comment on an issue they have never faced. Rape is not only a physical act, it comes with a lot of trauma. There is a lot of psychological trauma, shame and a lot of other things you can’t explain. To people who have never been raped, keep quiet, ” a female tweep wrote.

Prince then came guns blazing, defending himself saying he too is allowed to have an opinion and raise awareness irregardless of whether he has been in that situation or not. The woman then got dragged as well by people who share the same sentiments as Prince Kaybee. The lady took it further by advising Prince to respect himself, but the Hosh hit maker said ‘not today.’

“Sit this one out nana, I get the trauma part but the stuff about only victims can raise awareness is off, it DID NOT land at all. Sometimes ask your friends before you tweet so that you prevent embarrassing yourself.”

Minnnie Dlamini gave birth to a beautiful baby just a few months back. She and her husband, Quinton Jones couldn’t be happier about it.

Zodwa Wabantu Returns Her R10million Lamborghini

SARS contacted her on Monday…

Politician and businessman, Kenny Kunene who is the leader of Patriotic Alliance has reported that media personality, Zodwa Wabantu has returned her new Lamborghini she just purchased this past Monday because of SARS.

The entertainer caught the attention of SARS when she posted a video of herself buying a R10million Lamborghini with Kunene cheering in the background in the video on her Instagram this past Monday.

Though Zodwa has not officially addressed claims that her Lambo is gone, Kunene spoke to both TshisaLIVE and Daily Sun and confirmed that she had to return the car after receiving an SMS from SARS on Monday.

“Zodwa has decided not to buy the car anymore because after she posted the video celebrating, she got a call from SARS requesting to have a meeting with her. She figured out that it might have been because of the post so she then decided to not buy the car for now.

It is sad that in this country you can’t freely celebrate getting yourself anything without anyone hovering around you.”

Kunene also stated in the interviews that until the matter between Zodwa and SARS is resolved, the purchasing of the Lambo will be placed on ice. Kunene denied to comment on claims that he was the one that actually bought the Lambo for her.

A SARS media executive also refused to comment on the matter:
“The law doesn’t allow us to comment on people’s personal tax matters as they are confidential.”

This is the second time this year that the entertainer and the politician make headlines, as the two were trending a few days ago when it was revealed that Zodwa joined Kunene’s political party, Patriotic Alliance .
