Kgomotso Ditshwene has been announced as the latest cast member to join BET Africa’s Isono, assuming the role of Sophie, a woman who arrives in town to give her baby up for adoption.

Kgomotso Ditshwene has debuted in BET Africa’s Isono. In a statement from BET Africa on Thursday, 18 February 2021, the channel confirmed that the actress assumes the role of Sophie, who previously helped raise Zakwe and was a close friend to his mother, Thandi.

After many years apart, Sophie and Zakwe are reunited when she brings her baby to House Of Grace for adoption. Upon her arrival, Mary is very keen to take Sophie’s baby in, as she is hopeful that a possible investment is on the horizon.

The statement elaborated on the character, explaining that whilst getting accustomed to her new life, Sophie starts to get frustrated with the arrangement she has with Zakwe, as she is not satisfied with the little that they are getting. She also expresses that having to survive on leftovers was not part of their plan. She advises Zakwe that she is willing to get a job, however, she is not happy with the options she has because they do not meet her standards.

Pearl Modiadie has finally decided to remove her wisdom teeth and she is overjoyed. The process can be daunting, but the presenter is happy that she overcame it. Pearl went under general anesthesia before the surgery was performed, and she is proud that she made it through. After the procedure, Pearl gave her fans glimpses of the before and after teeth extraction on her Instagram page.

“Moments after the big extraction with my red eyes, a drip, and an ice pack on my face. Still without pain, just a little drowsiness, and swelling.”She expressed how scared she was before the extraction, “In a celebratory mood today because I finally removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth. I recently developed a fear of being under general anesthesia, so I’m proud to have done it anyway… with lots of prayer and tears just before surgery.”Following many sensationalized articles reporting on Modiadie’s visit to the hospital, her dad caught wind of this and went into a panic. Pearl had to reassure him that she was fine.The mother of one recently revealed that she ended things with baby daddy Nathaniel.

“Alone is so much better than being unhappy.” The sassy presenter revealed that she was not able to achieve the dream of a family she always dreamt of.

ctress, Baby Cele who played the role of Gabisile finally opened up about exiting Uzalo!

The actress who was interviewed by another publication expressed how emotional and painful it was to close the chapter of Gabisile and also stated that she’s already busy with another show on ETV.

She stated:

“You know what’s funny, when we started she wasn’t a villain. She was someone who wanted to make a difference in KwaMashu. She grew up there, disappeared for years and then came back. A good, spiritual, God-fearing woman and along the way, she changed. But I’m no writer so I didn’t complain.

“It breaks my heart to be honest with you because I have never played such a character before. Leaving Uzalo is like losing my family. I was telling someone that it’s like having a healthy baby only to be told I have to give it up for adoption. I couldn’t bring myself to watch the last episode.”

The talented actress also reflected about moving to KZN, where the show is shot:

“At first, I thought I was going to face challenges. I had just got married then I had to move. I remember I signed the contract without talking to my husband about it. But afterwards, we spoke about. He was a bit angry for a few minutes but then he agreed.

For me to go down there, it was for me to go through my calling. I am a sangoma and also an actress. There was something else t I had to fulfil spiritually which has been in my visions for a period of time. I never understood that it had to take me to go to Durban to fulfil all that.”

Though the actress is saddened by the ending of her contract with Uzalo, she assured her fans that they’ll be seeing her soon on another show ETV, which she’ll be busy with for a few months.

The besties had another bestication at the Kruger National Park while Mohale Motaung was spotted on another solocaetion in rural Qwaqwa yesterday.

Somhale recently shot the cover of True Love magazine together, shut down divorce rumours, announced their prepping for a baby.

Somizi has also clapped back at rumours of him and Mohale separating as he’s been spending more time with his bestie, Vusi Nova and less time with Mohale.
