Wiseman Mncube inspired by Menzi Ngubane: He is my role model

Director and actor Wiseman Mncube wants to follow in the footsteps of his idol Menzi Ngubane and hopes to work with the star in the near future.

The pair both featured in e.tv’s drama series Gold Diggers but Wiseman told TshisaLIVE this week that he looks forward to sharing scenes with Menzi on a project soon.Menzi Ngubane

“I see myself working with Menzi because of his acting range, presence and energy. I see myself in him and he is one of the people that I want to work with in the near future”.

The actor believes that their energies work well together. He described himself as someone who is quiet and sometimes shy, completely different to his character on Uzalo.

Sfiso Ncwane's kids take their stepmother Ayanda Ncwane to court!Late gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane’s two children have taken their stepmother Ayanda Ncwane to court in a bid to get their share of their award-winning father’s estate.

Snqobile Mzelemu and Sduduzo Dlamini represented by Pinky Dlamini, Sduduzo’s mother have taken the matter to the Master of the High Court. They are claiming Sfiso’s widow Ayanda is “dishonest and wants everything for herself” and want her to be removed as executor of the estate.

Snqobile who is now over 18 claims to have seen the late singers will and says she was left with nothing and that when her father was alive he maintained her.She told Daily Sun that she no longer receives money and wants a share of the estate as she is unable to support herself.

Pinky, Sduduzo’s mother is currently not working and is unable to maintain Sfiso’s son that is why she wants a share of the estate.

Sfiso in his will left his assets to his wife Ayanda. The will was signed on October 1, 2016, the singer died the same year on December 5.

The publication also alleges that there is speculation about the validity of the will and according to sources speaking to the paper Ayanda has been accused of sidelining Sfiso’s kids born out of wedlock.

A source speaking to the publication said, “For the past three years, Sfiso’s kids have been trying to reach out to Ayanda, but she ignores them. PCOS is a fertility condition caused by hormone imbalance and metabolism issues which, according to WomensHealth, affects one in 10 women of childbearing age.

But it wasn’t until Zandile noticed that she had excessive hair growth on her face, which was quite pronounced on screen, that she decided to see a doctor.

“Results were back with PCOS, and the first thing he said was I won’t be able to conceive,” she wrote.

The 39-year-old King William’s Town-born actress goes on to reveal how she wasn’t too bothered by her PCOS diagnosis because she wasn’t, “ready to start a family yet anyway”Although she was put on a contraceptive, which was meant to balance out her hormones, Zandile stopped taking the pills and started doing research on how to manage PCOS holistically as well as naturally.

“I’d wax my face to manage the hair, I had a bad reaction to wax then started threading,” Zandile wrote on the different methods she tried in an attempt to manage her excessive hair growth which is caused by PCOS,

Somizi Mhlongo mourns the passing of his mom, Mary Twala, at 80

Veteran South African actress Mary Twala has died at aged 80.

Her son, performer and media personality Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung announced the news on Saturday, July 4.

Taking to social media, the “Somizi & Mohale: The Union” confirmed the death of his mother in a Twitter post dedicated to her, “My tree has fallen……..lala Ma” along with a picture. The cause of her death is still unknown at the time of publishing.

He also shared a touching tribute on his Instagram post which read: “Today’s my late father’s birthday…..and my mom decided to respond to his call to join him in heaven…..THE TREE HAS FALLEN…I’m shattered to the core…..but I’d be very selfish if I dont release her….my mom lived to the fullest….achieved beyond her dreams….its hurts like hell…..I wont lie…..a day without her calling to either say I love u or give me money…….thank u south africa for loving the phenomenal super star that is my mother…….she left us peacefully around 11am at parklane pvt hospital as I was on my way to drop off her gown and a few minutes earlier the dr called to say come shes up and jolly now…..I arrived a few mon late……LALA MA.

Twala has been a prominent fixture in the local entertainment scene having starred in local films and television shows.

Starring the first season of the popular soapie “Generations” as a guest star, also starring in “Ubizo: The Calling” and her iconic role as Ma Dolly in “Hopeville” which saw her get nominated for best supporting actress at the 6th Africa Movie Academy Awards. She also starred alongside her son in the “Sarafina!” in 1992.

Recently Twala starred in “Beyond the River” and “The Imposter”.

Viewers also saw Twala in “Somizi & Mohale: The Union”, her son’s wedding docuseries, where her health was a concern for Mhlongo-Motaung and prevented her from being able to attend his white wedding.

Lebo Sekgobela announces the sudden passing of her dear mother

Multi-award winning gospel star Lebo Sekgobela has sadly lost her mother.

Losing a parent is one of the hardest things anyone can go through in life, especially when they were your best friend.

 learnt that Lebo’s mother Busani Mirriam Sekgobela has passed away, leaving a gaping hole in her heart.

It has been a heavy weekendin Mzansi with so many amazing souls passing on, and condolences are being spread far and wide.

The radio host’s mom, Mary Twala, died this morning at Netcare Park Lane hospital in Johannesburg.

Somizi told fans of his mother’s passing through a poignant tweet.

Taking to social media to share the heartbreaking news, Lebo expressed how yesterday was the hardest moment of her life.

Being a woman of God, Lebo trust that her mother is in safe hands, however, this does not make the pain that she is feeling any lighter.

May her beautiful soul rest in peace and pay the Sekgobela family find peace.
