South Africa’s celebrated DJ is blazing the international stage as his face appeared on New York City’s billboards this week. The Pieces of Me star revealed that this came no less than 48 hours after he dropped his latest album Subconsciously on all major streaming platforms. Impressed with his work, Spotify decided to celebrate the musician with billboards in New York and Toronto.

The Star recently posted on Instagram with this in the captions;

“It’s just over 48 hours since Subconsciously dropped and I’m completely blown away by all of the love and support from all about the world! Big love to the team at Spotify for bringing the album to bright lights in New York City and Toronto!”

There’s no surprises why the internationally acclaimed DJ is blown away by all the love and support. Fans were gushing at his success in the comments and Mzansis were super proud. After the release of 9 tracks out of the album’s 12, fans were delighted to have some amazing beats to chill to during the lockdown.
The DJ’s seventh album has barely been out a few days and is already a hit. Featuring big names in the industry such as Diplo, Pharrell Williams, David Guetta and South Africa’s El Musician, the album has already reached over 100m streams and is going strong. This could be the next Pieces of Me!!

His music choices are obviously paying off
The hit artist hasn’t always got love for his work though and has had to deal with recent criticisms from fans who weren’t quite sure about the kind of music the star was making. They didn’t get why he switched up his style to cater more to his American and British fans. In response to the backlash, the DJ spoke on Ukhozi FM, explaining that he would just let his music speak for itself. And it certainly has!! The success of Subconsciously so far is phenomenal and fans are taking back their words.There’s no doubt now that DJ Black Coffee has gained worldwide acclaim for his music, dominating the international scene with his unique choice of beats and amazing collaborations with the very best names in the industry. Taking to Twitter, Ntando appreciated the man’s kind gesture, “A guy gave me 1K at Moja Cafe today as a token of appreciation for being a great mother to my daughter, she said. He said watching me effortlessly doing it helped him a lot with raising his own kids. He said A LOT and my heart is so, so warm,” Ntando tweeted.

“Did I not start weeping at a groove! Yho! Bab’ MndebeleIf you see this tweet just know that you’ve given me even more courage and strength to continue doing this ngokuy’khandla nango Thando (with love and dedication). I actually have no words Kodwa izandla zidlula ikhanda Ngiyabonga (I am amazed thank you),” she wrote.

It has been two years since Kayise Ngqula lost her husband in a car accident.

For the longest time the presenter had it all, a husband and a new baby and then her whole life changed when she and her hubby were involved in a car accident, which she survived and unfortunately, he passed away.

Since the accident, the media personality has been slowly opening up about her loss.

Kefilwe’s mother died on 30th December, 2020 and ever since then, it has not been easy for her.

The fashionista shared a video of herself giving out her badass amapiano dance moves with her friend, Cedric Nkolele.

Her fans and other celebrities praised her for her dance moves.

30-year-old Mapula Mafole revealed weighing 34 as she regains her health and mental health.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the award-winning actress said she realized she was disappearing upon checking her weight, however she claims she got stronger.

Mapula also drew fans attention to the fact that people she counted on during her struggling days all forsook her.

“I’m gaining my mental and physical health back. I weighed 34 you guys… 34!!! I was disappearing, but I’m getting stronger. The people you count on will let you down sometimes and it’s okay. That’s when you’ll learn to count on the Most High,” she tweeted.
