R1.3m: Mafikizolo star’ ex, TK Nciza’s car to be repossessed?

Thembinkosi ‘TK’ Nciza, the man who was married to Mafikizolo’s lead vocalist Nhlanhla Mafu, is allegedly in hot waters with Standard Bank — he is said to have been recently reported to the Joburg high court as the bank seeks an order to demanded him to surrender his R1.3million luxurious Mercedes-Benz since he has been struggling to pay his monthly instalments as per their agreement, Sunday World reported.


 

 

 

 

 

While the cost of living in South Africa reaches new heights, it appears, that ordinary citizens are NOT the only ones feeling the pinch. According to the publication, on 15 June 2016, Nhlanhla Mafu’s ex-husband, the African National Congress (ANC) Gauteng provincial secretary, Thembinkosi ‘TK’ Nciza was credited with purchasing a 2015 Mercedez-Benz S400L. According to receipts obtained by the publication, the luxury car in question cost over R1.3 million and was purchased in Randpark Ridge in the north of Joburg.

It is reported that Nciza was supposed to pay a whopping total of over R1.9 million back to the bank, R23 000 instalments for 72 months. The total amount is said to exclude the R349 000 balloon payment.

Nciza is said to allegedly be in breach of the agreement with the bank. “As of 13 June 2022, the arrears amount owing by the defendant to the plaintiff under the agreement is R133,377.79,” Sunday World quoted the court documents as saying.
