The story of the twins Jennifer and June, who cut off contact with the outside world by refusing to speak to anyone for more than 29 years, is maybe one of the strangest events to have ever occurred on our planet. Most parents’ ultimate goal is to have two sets of twins, but occasionally it comes with a cost. The story of Jennifer and June serves as a good illustration of how challenging raising twins can occasionally be.

Since June and Jennifer were identical twins, it was impossible to ignore how similar they were to one another. The twins were born in 1963, and for any mother it was a cause for celebration.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the twins grew, their parents started to notice that something odd was happening to the two kids. Their actions had a certain unnatural quality to them. The resemblance in their behavior as well as their likeness in appearance caused the parents some concern.

Mr. Aubrey and Mrs. Gloria Gibbons, the children’s parents, began to notice something odd about their children. These two kids appear to have been chatting through silence. They were then given the moniker “the Silent Twins” because of this.

The two young people made the decision to live in silence, only exchanging words with one another. Even their parents were off limits to them. It appeared to be far worse to outsiders. The two started using this “code of silence” as their speech had begun to become more developed.

They continued to embrace a life of loneliness even after being split up and would spend a lot of time alone when sleeping. It had gotten worse, and now they would even put off eating until they were made to. When the parents saw it was not going to work, they made the decision to bring them back together.

The fact that these two girls were completely capable of speaking but instead chose not to do so concerned and raised questions in the minds of many people. Despite remaining silent, the two girls possessed a unique talent, which could be seen in the plays they would write as well as the made-up tales they produced and even sold.

However, the two of them appeared to have been negatively impacted by the silence, and before they knew it, they had turned into partners in crime and began consuming drugs and even stealing. The two’s life began to improve after they were apprehended and handed a 12-year prison sentence. Years later, June would acknowledge that her 12 years in a mental hospital turned out to be the worst of her life. Even though they made several attempts to write to the English queen to request their release, none of them were ever successful before they served out their sentence.

When one of the twins passed away, the other one was relieved of the burden and started to talk. June was forced to start making new connections with other people after her older twin Jennifer passed away from a heart attack shortly after being released from prison. Jennifer has chosen to live like any other normal person, even today, as a result of the death of her older sister. The tale was even made into a film, and the illustrious “Silent Twins” will live on for decades to come.

This has been a good year for Makhadzi so far and tommorow she will be making history again as she begin her international tour in Canada, were she will be on stage performing on that country and she will be having two shows on that country before she goes to UK.

But she was spotted taking some selfies for the last time in her home soil before she take a plane to Canada, and she was looking more relaxed like always and her dressing code can tell you that she is really going for a long time because she is wearing the warm clothes.

 

 
She will be taking long hours in the plane and she won’t rest for long as she will be on the stage tommorow doing her job, and it’s good to see how people like Makhadzi are selling the music of this country, to the whole world so that people can know a lot about our culture.
