Khaya posted: “Count it a blessing to live with your child… drop offs are so heartbreaking.”The award-winning gospel singer’s post garnered several reactions from social media users on X, with many accusing him of cheating on his ex-wife, Ntando Kunene.

“You’re the one who was unfaithful,” commented one X users, to with Khaya replied: “It is so unlike you to speak about things you know nothing about.”

Another netizen said: “Maybe I have a bad heart but I struggle so much to feel sorry for men.” Responding to her, Khaya said: “Wasn’t asking you to!!”While Ntando has never come out to publically accuse Khaya of cheating on her, this is not the first time that the Metro FM presenter has been accused of cheating.

According to Sunday World, Khaya’s with actress Nomzamo Mbatha ended in 2015 after he allegedly had an affair with her best friend and fellow actress Jessica Nkosi. The gospel music artist and the former Miss South Africa announced their split in 2019 after two years of marriage.

In the statement at the time, Ntando explained that the split was amicable.

“In the last few days, my husband and I have had an in-depth discussion about our marriage and our young family challenges. On Sunday, we met my in-laws and informed them of our mutual decision for us to amicably file for divorce.

“My son and I have moved out of our marriage home to return home to Mpumalanga,” read the statement in part.In January 2023, Khaya – who won Idols SA season eight – had a sit-down on the Wisdom & Wellness podcast with Mpoomy Ledwaba. During the interview, the musician admitted that the divorce was difficult for him and what made it even harder was that it took place during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I really struggled, I’m not going to lie. That has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through and I never want to go through it again … I cannot believe I came out of that hole. And when I went through it, it was during the period of lockdown. We broke up, then we went into lockdown. I was alone in my house for eight months … Thank God I didn’t have to go to church because I would have collapsed,” he said.

“It was a period for me to unlearn and it was a huge awakening to the man I was and a huge awakening to who I wanted to be. I was on antidepressants and I was sleeping my life away.”
