MBALI NKOSI AND BIG BROTHER
Mbali Nkosi’s fame may have begun in the Big Brother Mzansi house, where she left as the second runner-up, but her talents extended far beyond reality TV according to TheNation. One of her remarkable talents is her ability to write songs, making her a proficient songwriter.

Her journey into the world of entertainment began with her appearance on the Mzansi Magic aired Big Brother show, but this was only the beginning. While some reality TV stars faded away after their 15 minutes of fame, Mbali’s star continued to rise.

She has appeared on numerous TV shows, solidifying her presence in the South African entertainment industry.

FAMILY AND SCHOOL
Born into a family of six children, with four sisters and a brother, Mbali Nkosi’s family plays an essential role in her life. While she remains relatively private about her family, she often acknowledges their importance. Her mother is late, and details about her father are not publicly available.

For her education, Mbali Nkosi started her journey at the Le Gal Dance Academy at the tender age of five. There, she honed her skills in various dance forms, including ballet, Spanish, tap, and modern dance.

Mbali Nkosi has also made appearances as a presenter on national roadshow programs, such as Coca-Cola for the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and ‘Mom and Me’ in the following year.

As a video vixen, she has been featured in music videos for renowned artists like Denim, Thembi Seetee, L’Vovo, Kwela Tebza, Pascoul, and Justin Chalice.

In 2013, Mbali ventured into screen acting, landing a minor role in ‘Rockville’ and subsequently appearing in the third season in 2015. In 2014, she joined the cast of ‘Generations’ and portrayed HR lady Brenda on ‘Zabalaza,’ a popular Mzansi Magic soap opera.

Additionally, she became a news anchor for ANNZ, a news channel, in December 2014.

BUSINESS WOMAN
These days, Mbali Nkosi is a multifaceted public figure known for her creativity as an actress and presenter who keeps herself busy as an award-winning businesswoman.

‘Uzalo’ confirms Wiseman Mncube, Nkanyiso Mchunu’s departures

WISEMAN MNCUBE LEAVES ‘UZALO’
IOL reports that Umkhokha: The Curse star Nkanyiso Mchunu and Shaka Ilembe actor Wiseman Mncube have left the SABC1 soapie, Uzalo.

The publication adds that Stained Glass Production have thanked the actors for their contribution to the show in a statement:


 
“We’ve had the privilege of witnessing Wiseman Mncube and Nkanyiso Mchunu’s incredible journey on Uzalo.

“Their commitment to their craft, their ability to breathe life into their characters, and the chemistry they brought to the screen have enriched our show in ways words can’t express,” said series producer King David Mukwevho.”

Mzansi Magic has confirmed that Mncube and Mchunu have secured roles on My Brother’s Keeper, which will replace the award-winning telenovela Gomora.

NKANYISO MCHUNU: NEXT ROLE
The Uzalo actors Wiseman Mncube and Nkanyiso Mchunu are joined by Generations: The Legacy star Zola Nombona, The Estate star S’dumo Mtshali, Smoke and Mirrors star Lindani Nkosi, Uzalo star Nelisa Mchunu and Scandal! star Rosemary Zimu.

Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment channels at M-Net revealed in a statement to TshisaLIVE:

“We have always offered our viewers the best in local entertainment in a variety of genres, and with the upcoming premiere of My Brother’s Keeper, we’re pleased to bring another well-written and expertly produced series to our DStv Compact viewers.”

“Telenovelas are a much-loved genre, and we look forward to growing our impressive and versatile content slate with a show that is sure to keep us all intrigued and entertained.”

My Brother’s Keeper will premiere on Monday, 23 October at 19:30.

Cassper Nyovest pays homeage to archrival AKA in new song

Rapper Cassper Nyovest has released his highly-anticipated album titled Solomon and in it he pays tribute to his late archenemy Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.

The Company hitmaker was gunned down in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) in February this year. No arrests have been made.

 

 

CASSPER NYOVEST PAYS TRIBUTE TO AKA
To honour his rival, Cassper penned the song Candlelight, where he reminisces about his interactions with AKA. He also expresses his sorrow at the untimely death of the rapper who was also affectionately known as Supa Mega.

“This time is for the legacy. I don’t do it just to do it, this is therapy. And if this sh*t don’t exist then we develop it. And when I heard it I was just as hurt as the Megacy, uh.

“Man, our battle was the highlight. I was confused when you came and gave me high fives. A very important featurе in my life. And you still shining, yeah, we see you in thе starlights, yeah,” raps Cassper.

Cassper also talks about visiting the Forbes to convey his condolences after AKA’s passing and also jokes that his father, Tony Forbes, may just be cooler than the late rapper.

In July this year, Tony shared an image of him and Cassper, subsequently thanking him for the support.

REGRETS AND MUSIC
During his interview on The Episode podcast in July, Cassper opened up about the impact of his AKA’s passing on him, regrets concerning their beef and them working making music together.

Asked about their beef and if he had any regrets, Cassper responded that he does, however, he acknowledges that they were both living in the moment.

The After 10 rapper shared that he had hoped him and AKA would get into a boxing ring to iron things out once and for all. He also shared that they have unreleased music together.

“I thought we were going to get into the boxing ring and handle it there. I thought after that we would be OK and make music. Well, we do have music together that people have never heard. We made a few records together

Miss SA 2021 Lalela shows off high school achievements

Former Miss South Arica Lalela Mswane has proven time and time again that she is more than just a pretty face. The 2021 Miss SA winner and 2022 Miss Supranational announced earlier this week that she had bagged an SABC hosting gig. And now she has headed online to share a throwback photo of herself in high school.

In the photo, a younger Lalela can be seen wearing her school uniform while holding trophies and wearing medals around her neck.

 

 

LALELA MSWANE SHOWS OF HIGH SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENTS
Earlier this week pageant queen Lalela Mswane was announced as a co-host on South African talkshow Daily Thetha.

The 25-year-old stunner will be heading the show alongside Mxolisi Masango and is set to make her debut on 23 October this year.

In 2021, Ndoro hogged headlines when his frail-looking pictures at Simba Bhora training ground, a Zimbabwe Football outfit, flooded social media.

The viral pictures gained thousands of comments and reactions after being dropped on the internet. The photos undoubtedly implicated his controversial marriage with his South African ex-wife, Thando Maseko.

Back home, local news outlet Soccer24 once revealed that Tendai Ndoro is also running an undisclosed business in South Africa as he awaits his much-talked-about return. Undoubtedly, the football fraternity awaits the grand return of ‘Fire 7’ on his last dance.

THE LAST DANCE
Unconfirmed reports have it that the star has been focusing on getting better and has been training alone. In one of his interviews in 2022, he made it known that he was working tirelessly for the last dance before he hung his boots.

The once highest-paid star in Africa also revealed that he received offers but was focused on getting better after being partially blind.

However, since his 2022 interview, little has been heard about Ndoro, whether in the transfer news or social media.
