Carol Tshabalala is living her best life in Qatar

The hype around the 2022 FIFA World Cup is starting to come alive despite the fact that the tournament will kick off on 21 November 2022 when Senegal take on the Netherlands in their Group A encounter at Al Thumama Stadium.

South Africa’s First Lady of Sport Carol Tshabalala jetted off to Qatar to attend the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw which took place in the country’s capital in Doha Exhibition and Conventional Centre on Friday.

The Supersport TV presenter has since been documenting her work trip through pictures and posts on her Instagram account. Upon arrival in Qatar “Simply K” as she is affectionately known as was spotted at the Hammad International Airport in Doha after she had safely landed following her flight which took over 8 hours.

During her busy schedule the 40 year old Soweto born beauty has not only had the privilege of attending the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw but she has also had the privilledge of interviewing dignitaries and football legends.

On Saturday the well known radio presenter and voice over artist took to her Instagram account to share a picture where she was captured alongside the most international capped Brazilian player of all time Cafu who won two FIFA World Cups.

 

Detailing her work trip on the popular platform Carol Tshabalala has had the privilege of interviewing the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Dr Patrice Motsepe and she was also able to meet Cameroon coach Rigobert Song.

The award winning sportscaster has also had the privilege of visiting Doha’s favourite beach club the Monkey Tale which is considered as the perfect destination for people who want to chill, dine and socialise.

Carol Tshabalala has also been spotted at Stadium 974 which is going to be used for matches during the 2022 FIFA World Cup which was constructed using 974 containers.
