She was born on 19th July 1970 in Limpopo Province. She began her singing career when she was 14 years old. She is best known for Tsa Mandebele hit song which won Metro FM song of the year in 2003.

She has starred in SABC 2 Xitsonga telenovela drama series Giyani Land of Blood as Mhani Dayina. She has also known for her role as Bafedile on SABC 1 educational drama series Skeem Saam.
