Candice is a South African actor, TV and Radio host and a voice-over artist. She made her debut appearance on TV kids show YOTV Live which she hosted for 2 years. This was not easily come by though. Candice pushed on after over 15 audition rejections before her break into the industry.

Her acting career however started at a much earlier stage. At the age of 10 she landed a role in a theatre production ‘Cagebird’ held at McCauley House School.

 

 

 

 

Candice was born 16 May 1995 in Johannesburg to Percy and Grace Modiselle. She was raised by a single mother after losing her father to suicide in 1997. She comes from a close-knit family and has 2 prolific sisters in the industry, Bontle and Refilwe. She is the youngest of the 3 sisters.

Candice has hosted shows like ‘LIVE AMP’, ‘Selimathunzi’, ‘Generations : The Legacy’ as Lerato Matema, appeared in a BBC celebrity special reality show ‘Come Dine With Me South Africa’ and ‘Style Squad’.

That is not all folks. This 20 something whirlwind has beauty and brains.

She has a Bachelors and Honours degree in Dramatic Arts and is also a lecturer for the OnCue Interface Talent School teaching tv presenting.

Candice plays Vuyiswa in the Netflix original drama series, JIVA!

JIVA! Tells the story of a talented street dancer Ntombi in Umlazi, Durban and the conflicts which arise through her family’s disapproval at her pursuit of dance as a career. Candice plays the mouthy, bold and wealthy best friend, Vuyiswa.
