Shepherd Bushiri, who considers himself a prophet, was born to a family of four on February 23, 1983, in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. The controversial prophet had a timid childhood, during which he often accompanied his mother. Even as a young child, Bushiri began sharing the gospel with others. He is well-known in the area where he currently resides for his habit of carrying a bible and sharing its message with passers-by.
Before moving to the capital of Malawi in 2013, Bushiri was already a well-known pastor throughout the country. Numerous individuals used to visit his church in hopes of being prophesied to. To further his ministry, Bushiri moved to South Africa in 2013. Upon his arrival in South Africa, he was quickly welcomed and supported by a sizable crowd. He did it again, making history as the first pastor to fill FNB Stadium.
Bushiri amassed a fortune in South Africa through several sources, including counseling fees, the sale of anointing oils and water, and the sale of belts and other accessories. Bushiri had an extravagant mansion and a garage full of expensive cars. Before coming to South Africa, Bushiri lacked the éclat that is now his trademark. When they tell you, “No glimmer,” they’re not kidding around; you literally have no money.
