The scandal between Boity and Bujy seems to get thicker by the day. When the news first broke out, most of us underestimated the gravity of the situation since most debated if the incident is a GBV since Bujy does not really identify himself as a man!
 

 

 

It’s only yesterday that Bujy provided his side of the story. In his statement which was posted on Instagram, he emphasised how he has been going through the most the past few days and that people have judged him prematurely without even hearing his side of the story. He then relayed how the incident was instigated by Boity and that he threw the bottle at her out of frustration and meant no harm. To many people, the apology was not really an apology because he painted himself as a victim even though he did admit to throwing the bottle at her.

This was all before he realized that audios of the incident were leaked and that most of the relay of the incident will be contradicted by the audios. It is at this moment that (s)he issued another statement, quite different from the first one. To most observers, this was just confirmation that most of what (s)he wrote initially was untrue and done out of no remorse. In the new statement, it is written that “I could have handled the situation differently and not have it escalate to the levels it has from either party” signalling a change in attitude from the first release.
