House of Zwide viewers have seen enough of the soapie and are pleading with Etv to end the show and bring back Rhythm City, the soapie that was replaced by House of Zwide.

The soapie which premiered in July of last year, will be turning a year next month. Despite starting on a popular trend when it first premiered, the soapie has not been able hold on to the main story of the show. Viewers are now losing patience with the soapie for the story involving Onalerona played by Nefisa Mkhabela and Funani Zwide played Vusi Kunene.

The two are father and daughter but both of them don’t it yet, despite numerous times that it seemed like they would find out the truth, the truth is always covered by Faith Zwide played by Winnie Ntshaba, the wife of Funani Zwide.

 

 

 

In the latest twist of the storyline a woman by the name Naledi appeared and claimed to be the mother of Onalerona. Although it is a known fact that she is not the mother, viewers asked themselves questions as to how come a random person would rock up and claim to be someone mother.

Viewers didn’t like this direction the soapie was taking, with one user saying that this means that the writers would rather have someone lie about Onalerona than just reveal the true identity of Onalerona. One user said it’s been a year of the show and nothing is happening, and suggested that they should cancel the soapie and bring back Rhythm City.
