We don’t have so many musical groups in Mzansi and those that are popular have managed to make their way up through hard work and team work, not forgetting dedication. There is one group that has been popular for so many years and it keeps staying relevant and moving with the times. The duo is known as Mafikizolo.

 

 

 

 

 

Mafikizolo is a South African Afro-pop music duo formed in 1996, consisting of composer Theo Kgosinkwe and lead singer Nhlanhla Nciza. The duo rose to fame after they released their singles “Ndihamba Nawe kuphela”, “Kwela Kwela”, “Sibongile”, together with their late partner known as Tebogo. Ater the passing of their partner, a lot people never thought that the duo would continue with making a name for themselves through the group.

The stars managed to overcome the obstacles standing in their ways and moved forward doing what they love the most. This year, they celebrate 25 years of making great music and entertaining audiences around the world. Mafikizolo band members Nhlanhla Nciza and Theo Kgosinkwe hope their late bandmate Tebogo Tebza Madingoane will be here to celebrate the milestone.

Theo and Nhlanhla have been close over the years, and Tebogo’s death has made them appreciate what each brings to the table. Their bond became stronger. The duo celebrated this special moment with some of the important people in their lives and they shared some of their adorable moments on their social media platforms. This duo has been doing remarkably well in the entertainment industry and they really deserve to be celebrated.
