The Madisha family along with Mamelodi Sundowns have today released a statement that reveals that the Motjeka Madisha was indeed the person who was involved in a car accident on 12 December 2020.

The late Motjeka Madisha was burnt beyond recognition in an accident that took place on Zuurfontein Road outside Kempton Park.

Today marks exactly 50 days since his tragic passing. The Madisha family were seeking clarity as to confirm if indeed the deceased was their son. The young defender was one of the core players at Sundowns, in the time of his death he had made 99 appearances for team and also scoring three goals.

According to the statement released today, the funeral of Motjeka Madisha will be on Saturday the 6th of February 2021. The funeral will be held in Ga-Madisha Leolo, Zebediela, Limpopo province. Due to the lockdown regulations only a few people will be able to attend the proceedings.
