Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana star Bongani Zungu recently used his social media handle to celebrate his child’s first birthday.

The football icon and his partner Cindy Mahlangu have often been described as the perfect couple.

 

 

 

They were blessed with a baby boy last year and even though they tried to keep it a secret, celebrity blogger Musa Khawula spilled the beans on Twitter.

The 30-year-old Sundowns baller may be reeling from a recent muscle strain injury but was in a celebratory mood yesterday as his child celebrated its first birthday.

He has earned 29 caps for Bafana Bafana and he has also played extensively in Europe.

He had a stint with Rangers, who were then coached by former Liverpool great Steven Gerrard.

Zungu’s was spotted with his partner and the baby’s mother, ‘Blood & Water’ actress Mahlangu, hovering over a Chateau Gateaux cake to help their toddler blow its solitary candle, showing the number ‘1’.

The couple has had an amorous journey and Mahlangu would travel to France to be with her bae when he was still based in that country.
