Black Woman Told By Doctors Her Baby Died During Birth, see what she Discovered Years Later

Damea Morris, a Black woman, asserts that the kid she gave birth to—and that physicians later told her had died during delivery—actually survived. She thinks white parents reared it after it was handed away, adopted, and raised. Damea suddenly gave birth to RaeLa Adams on the bathroom toilet at home about three years ago.

The baby’s father left to get assistance because they lived across the street from a school. He returned with a student who assisted Damea until paramedics arrived. The mother reported that the infant was not breathing, but once the umbilical cord was severed, the infant began to cry. The paramedics transported Damea and the newborn to St. Joseph’s hospital when they arrived, where it was announced that the baby had died. As Damea was suffering from emotional exhaustion, the family was later given an urn containing what they thought to be the infant’s remains. But when she arrived to pick up RaeLa’s death certificate, she discovered some terrible information. I eventually learned that I have an open adoption with a lady, she said.

The woman finally discovered her identity on social media after a protracted search and was astonished as she scrolled through the pictures. She said, “OMG, she looks just like my other kids,” as she and her husband carried their baby. When the adoptive mother was reached, she shared her experience online and revealed that the hospital had called her the day after Damea gave birth.

The hospital’s maternity ward was about to close, so they were asked to select the final infant. When Damea finally mustered the strength to open the urn and saw that it was empty, another surprising event occurred. Following the events that were highlighted on social media,

The adoptive family deleted the adoption-related posts from their social media profiles. Since then, the hashtag BringRaeLaHome has gained traction on social media. We wish for the mother to find her daughter and bring her back to her true home.
