I would like to say that social media platforms are all fun and games but it would be a lie as we have seen many times people tackling serious issues on social media platforms.

I can also say that being a celebrity sometimes come at a heavy price for many people. Many people would agree to the fact that being famous makes you a target for trolls.

Trolls are everywhere on social media platforms, you can scroll a page and not find someone being roasted on social media platforms, especially on black twitter.

South African black twitter is no like other. The people there have no limits to the people they go after online. They go after everyone and celebraties are their favorite.It doesn’t matter what you do. If there’s nothing to say, they will make up something to say and make it trend online. Things haven’t been this hectic in a while on black twitter.

The black twitter midnight nightshift gang have a tendency of pulling out topics about people and making them trend during the night, mostly it was to confuse people.

They had tricked so many of our local celebrities over the cause of last year. First it was Khanyi Mbau, night shift gang said she was engaged just days after she announced her breakup with Tebogo.
