Beyonce’s South African designer hits hard times and moves into his parents Soweto back room

The winds of change have spurned in the life of Beyonce’s South African designer Lebogang Quiteria Kekana of Quiteria Atelier.

Kekana is one of South Africa’s easily recognizable fashion designers and his made a vast fortune.

He was made famous when he was commissioned to design Beyonce’s outfit during the Global Citizen concert in 2018.

But he has now hit hard times.

According to the Sunday World, Kekana was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April and his life has never been the same.

His health has had a detrimental effect on his life and it has stopped him from working.

Speaking to Sunday World, the 38 year old had opened up about how

“I developed skin patches and lost energy, I was fatigued, and my body couldn’t take the stress. I experienced inflammation in different parts of my body,” said Kekana.

“Many people know it as the Kahler’s disease, but multiple myeloma is basically a cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell.”

The 38 year old said he had struggled to keep up with his hospital bills and to make ends meet.

He also started chemotherapy this week. So sad indeed.
