People have a preconceived concept of South African celebrities, specifically that they do not attend college or university. Others say that going to college is futile if you want to be a superstar because you will not be required to use your credentials in the field.
Many people are unaware that a substantial number of South African artists are highly educated. Many of them have degrees (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) in areas unrelated to Theatre Art, Dramatic Art, or Music, and yet they are performing as well as or better than some of their classmates with artistic backgrounds. Some celebrities have gone on to acquire master’s degrees and diplomas.
The following is a list of South African female celebrities that have acquired university degrees or qualifications! It never hurts to have a backup plan, whether you’re famous and bigger than the entertainment industry. It’s little wonder, though, that a number of well-known South African female celebrities have pursued graduate degrees as well.
1. Rolene Strauss.
Strauss obtained her medical degree from the University of the Free State on December 7th, 2017. As a result of being a test tube baby, she believes her excitement for education, women, and health is embedded in her DNA. Her enthusiasm for medicine and health care inspired her to return to school following her reign as Miss World. She believes that without it, she would have felt incomplete.
Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss is well-known for her title. She was crowned at the 64th edition of the Pageant, which was held at the Excel in London. Her successor was Megan Young of the Philippines, who won the title of Miss World in 2013. It was a touching moment when Megan finally put the crown on Rolene’s head. Earlier in 2014, she had been crowned Miss South Africa.
She is a model and doctor in her native South Africa. Similarly, she is the leader of the charitable organization The Strauss Foundation. That she is the third South African woman to win Miss World is noteworthy. Queens Penelope Anne Coelen (1958) and Anneline Kriel (1974) came before her in the throne.
Candice Modiselle, Number Two.
These two adjectives perfectly characterize this one-of-a-kind actress. She attended McAuley House Convent in Parktown, Johannesburg, from 10th grade to matriculation, where she studied drama.

Beautiful model wins 2017 Hot Chick of the Year Feather Award. The actress also developed the Pretty Lethal program, which teaches women how to defend themselves for free. Her dedication to the gym and motivation to succeed there are also key factors.
Five. Kerishnie Naicker.
The former Miss South Africa Naicker joins two other previous Miss South Africa winners on the list. She earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy when she won the pageant in 1997. The Master’s degree was her current focus.
All4Women states that her current areas of expertise include healthcare, media/communications, and brand/reputation management.
Words to the wise: Thuli Phongolo.

When Phongolo was in college, he studied marketing at the University of Johannesburg.
Number seven, Nomzamo Mbatha.

Everyone was gushing about her cap and gown at her graduation party and on social media. All the people whose faces were on Nomzamo were people she knew well, including her late father and sister.
It’s important to remember that education helps people improve as citizens, gain better jobs, and show they know the difference between right and evil.
Education helps us grow and develop as individuals, and it also teaches us the importance of putting in hard effort.
By understanding and upholding societal norms, we can hopefully aid in the improvement of human life as a whole.
