They often say love is something that makes the world go round. If something was meant to be, then surely it was meant to be.

In one of the most beautiful love stories you will ever hear this year, a couple has beat all odds to tie the knot.

 

 

 

Newlyweds Bontle and Emmanuel Moka were in a relationship for eight years and they decided to get engaged.

But life’s challenges were too much to bare and they broke up.

They moved on with their lives and never made any contact for six years. During those six years apart, Bontle and Emmanuel dated other partners because they were certain their relationship had ended.

But in 2021 they started to reconnect on social media and two weeks into talking again, they knew they wanted to get married.

Emmanuel had already moved to the United States while Bontle was still in South Africa.

One thing led to the other and after six years apart, they started dating again.

“I had a dream about him, and then I went to his Instagram and liked one of his photos, and he liked mine back,” Bontle said.

The couple then got married at Home Affair’s and they are now certain they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
